Bread kalakand Desserts Recipe

1) 1½ full cream milk

2) 6 tbsp sugar some saffron strands

3) 12 bread slices

4) ½ cup fresh malai

5) some nuts of your choice

Today, we are sharing a recipe that is perfect for parties and festivals celebrations. This dessert is incredibly delicious, tasty, and easy to make. After trying it, everyone will be happy! Make sure to give it a try and share your feedback with us.

Step 1: Preparing the Milk

First, take a pan and add 1.5 liters of fresh milk (you can also use boiled milk). Let it come to a boil, stirring occasionally so it doesn’t stick to the bottom. When the milk starts boiling, take a small bowl and add saffron strands, pouring some hot milk over them, then set it aside.

Step 2: Adding Sugar

Now, add 6 tablespoons of sugar to the boiling milk. Stir well and let the milk cook. You can adjust the sugar to your taste if you prefer it sweeter.

Step 3: Thickening the Milk

Take 250 ml of the milk and set it aside in a bowl. Now, continue cooking the rest of the milk until it thickens. The goal is not to make it too thick, but to reduce the quantity and concentrate the flavors.

Step 4: Preparing the Bread

Take white bread slices and cut off the edges (don’t throw away the edges as they’ll be useful later). Grind the bread in a mixer to create breadcrumbs.

Step 5: Layering the Bread

Take a tray and place a layer of bread slices. Then, pour some sweetened milk over the bread to soak it. Next, add a layer of the thickened rabri (milk mixture) over it.

Step 6: Adding Garnish

On top of the rabri, sprinkle some finely chopped pistachios, almonds, or other dry fruits of your choice. You can use one kind or mix them.

Step 7: Setting the Dish

Mix the rabri and bread layers together in the tray, ensuring they are well combined. Then, place the tray in the fridge for 3-4 hours, or overnight, to set.

Step 8: Final Touch and Serving

Once you take it out of the fridge, sprinkle more finely chopped pistachios and almonds on top. Cut the dessert into pieces as per your preference for easy serving.

Thank You….♥️
