Let’s Start Recipe
Today, we are going to make a very delicious and unique Chinese Kebab recipe. This is a perfect winter special dish and an ideal recipe for kids’ lunch boxes. You can serve it with tomato ketchup or mayonnaise. It’s a very easy recipe to follow, so let’s quickly get started!
Step 1: Prepare the Base
In a pan, add 1 teaspoon of oil and 1 teaspoon of butter. Let the butter melt on low flame. You can use only oil if you prefer. Once the butter has melted, add 1 tablespoon of chopped garlic. Fry it for 30 seconds to 1 minute on low flame.
Then add 1 small onion, finely chopped. Fry the onions on medium flame until they become translucent, without making them too dark.
Step 2: Add the Chicken
Add 300 grams of boiled and shredded chicken to the pan. Fry the chicken along with the onions and garlic for 1 to 1.5 minutes, until the chicken’s smell disappears and it gets lightly roasted.
Step 3: Add the Vegetables
Now, add 1 medium-sized carrot, finely chopped, and 1 cup of finely chopped cabbage to the pan. Cook them for 1 to 2 minutes on medium flame. The carrot takes a little longer to cook, so I’ve added it first.
Next, add 1 medium-sized bell pepper, finely chopped, and 1/2 cup of boiled frozen peas. Mix all the vegetables well. Feel free to add other vegetables you like, or skip the ones you don’t have.
Step 4: Add Spices and Sauces
Once the vegetables are cooked, add the following:
1) 1 teaspoon of salt (or to taste)
2) 1 teaspoon of black pepper powder
3) 1 teaspoon of red chili powder
4) 1 tablespoon of red chili sauce (or green chili sauce if preferred)
5) 1 tablespoon of dark soy sauce
6) 1 tablespoon of vinegar (or lemon juice if preferred)
Mix all these ingredients well and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes on medium flame to let the spices blend and cook.
Step 5: Bind the Mixture
Once the spices are well cooked, set the vegetable mixture aside. Now, in the same pan, add 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour (maida) and 1 to 2 tablespoons of oil. Mix the oil and flour together and cook for 2 to 3 minutes on low flame to get rid of the raw taste of the flour.
Once the flour is lightly roasted and gives off a pleasant smell, add 3/4 cup of chicken stock (the broth from boiling the chicken). If you don’t have chicken stock, you can use water instead.
Mix everything well, and as you cook, the mixture will thicken and come together like a dough. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes on medium flame.
Step 6: Cool the Mixture
Once the mixture has thickened and is binding together, turn off the heat and set it aside to cool for 15 to 20 minutes.

Step 7: Shape the Kebabs
Grease your hands with a little oil. Then take small portions of the cooled mixture, round them into balls, and shape them into kebabs by pressing them between your palms. You can shape them into round or cylindrical forms as per your preference.
Step 8: Coat and Fry the Kebabs
For the coating, take 1 egg and whisk it well.
Heat oil in a pan on medium flame. Dip each kebab into the beaten egg, ensuring that it’s well-coated, and then carefully add them to the pan. Make sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry the kebabs for 1 to 2 minutes on one side, then flip them to fry the other side. Fry for 4 to 5 minutes, turning them until they have a golden-brown color on all sides.
Step 9: Serve
Once the kebabs are crispy and golden brown, remove them from the pan. Serve these hot and crispy Chinese Kebabs with tomato ketchup or mayonnaise.
Thank You…♥️
