Chicken Pizza Recipe
Ingredients
For the Chicken Marinade
500 grams** boneless chicken (cut into small pieces)*
¾ tsp** salt
¼ tsp** turmeric powder
¾ tsp** garam masala powder
1 tsp** roasted cumin powder
½ tsp** black pepper powder
1 tsp** red chili powder (for spice)
1 tsp** Kashmiri red chili powder (for color)
½ tsp** chaat masala powder
Juice of half a lemon
1 ½ tsp** ginger-garlic paste
* **2 tbsp** thick yogurt
For the Pizza Dough
¾ cup** warm water (not too hot)
1 ½ tsp** sugar
1 ½ tsp** active dry yeast (or instant yeast)
3 cups** all-purpose flour (sifted)
1 tsp** salt
2 tbsp** milk powder (skimmed or full)
1 ½ tbsp** sunflower oil (or olive oil/butter)
For Assembling the Pizza
**Pizza sauce** (or substitute with tomato ketchup, chili sauce, and chili flakes)
Mozzarella cheese** (as per taste)
Cooked chicken** (from marinade)
Vegetables** of choice (e.g., chopped onions, tomatoes, capsicum, olives, etc.)
Melted butter** (for brushing the edges)
Oregano** (for sprinkling)
Chili flakes** (optional)
Let’s Start Recipe
Today, we’re going to make a delicious and super fun chicken pizza recipe! This homemade pizza will taste even better than what you get at restaurants or hotels. It’s a very simple recipe, perfect for any party. The pizza will turn out fantastic and super tasty. Do try it once! Let’s start making it right away.
Step 2: Preparing the Chicken

Mix all these ingredients well with the chicken. Marinate the chicken and keep it in the fridge for about **30 minutes** so the spices get absorbed properly, making the chicken soft and tender.
Step 4: Preparing the Dry Ingredients for the Dough
In another bowl, take **3 cups** of flour (sifted).Add:
* 1 tsp salt
* 2 tbsp milk powder (if you have skimmed milk powder, you can use that)
Mix these dry ingredients thoroughly.
Now, add the activated yeast mixture and mix everything well. Gradually add warm water if necessary, to form a soft dough.Once mixed, add **1 ½ tbsp sunflower oil** (you can use olive oil or butter as well). Knead the dough for about **5-7 minutes** until it becomes smooth and soft. The better you knead the dough, the softer and fluffier the pizza base will be.
Step 5: Proofing the Dough
Once kneaded, cover the dough with a damp cloth or cling film and let it rise for **1 to 2 hours** in a warm place. After the dough has doubled in size, punch it down to remove the air. The dough should be smooth and soft.
Step 6: Cooking the Chicken
While the dough is rising, heat **1-2 tbsp oil** in a pan.
Add the marinated chicken and cook on medium-high heat for **1-2 minutes**, stirring constantly. The chicken will release water. Let it cook in its own water.
Once the chicken is cooked well and the water has dried up, increase the heat to high and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to give the chicken a nice color. You can also smoke the chicken with coal for extra flavor.
Step 7: Shaping the Pizza Base
Once the dough is ready, divide it into **3 portions** (for large pizzas). If you prefer medium-sized pizzas, divide it into **4-5 portions**.
On a board, dust some flour and shape each portion into a smooth ball. After resting, roll out the dough into a medium-thick pizza base, about **1/4 inch thick**.

Step 8: Assembling the Pizza
Preheat the oven to **180°C**.Grease a pizza tray with some oil. Place the pizza base on the tray and spread pizza sauce (or mix tomato ketchup, chili sauce, and chili flakes) evenly on the base.
Now, sprinkle **mozzarella cheese** generously (avoid putting cheese on the edges).Top with the cooked chicken and your favorite vegetables. I added chopped onions, tomatoes, and capsicum. You can also add olives, jalapenos, or red paprika for extra flavor.
Brush the edges of the pizza with melted butter to make it crispy and flavorful. Sprinkle some oregano and chili flakes on top.
Step 9: Baking the Pizza
Bake the pizza in the preheated oven at **180°C for 15-16 minutes**. Depending on your oven, the timing might vary, so keep an eye on it. The pizza is ready when the cheese melts and the base turns golden brown.
Step 10: Serving
Once baked, remove the pizza from the oven and transfer it onto a plate. Cut it into slices using a pizza cutter or sharp knife.
Look at how beautifully the cheese has melted and the pizza looks soft and cheesy. It’s perfectly baked, crispy, and delicious. This homemade pizza tastes even better than the ones from restaurants.
