Let’s Start Recipe
Today, we’re going to make a very **refreshing** and **healthy** **Sago Jelly Juice**. You can prepare this for Festivals or for any special gathering. It’s quick and easy to make, and although it looks super tasty, it’s even more refreshing and delicious when you drink it. Let’s get started!
Step 1: Preparing the Jelly
Take a glass dish and add **one packet of jelly powder** (you can use any brand you like). Also, add the small packet that comes with it. Mix them well. If there are any lumps, break them down. Once everything is mixed well, we’ll add **450 ml hot water**. After heating the water, let it cool down for a few seconds before adding it to the jelly powder. Stir it immediately so that there are no lumps.
Check the instructions on the packet of jelly powder you are using, and follow them to prepare the jelly. After mixing, leave it at room temperature for about **30 minutes to 1 hour** to set. The jelly will be ready by then.
Step 2: Cooking the Sago
While the jelly is setting, we’ll cook the **sago pearls**. In a large pot, bring **3-4 glasses of water** to a boil. Once the water is boiling, add **¾ cup of small sago pearls (sabudana)**. Stir it immediately to avoid lumps. Keep the flame on **low to medium** and cook for about **15-18 minutes**, or until the sago pearls become **transparent** and soft.
After cooking for about **18-19 minutes**, check the sago. It should be perfectly cooked. Turn off the heat and strain it using a **strainer**. After straining, rinse it with **cold water** to remove the extra starch and stop the cooking process. This will ensure the jelly doesn’t melt too much, and the sago pearls stay separate.
Step 3: Preparing the Milk Mixture
Next, take **1 liter of milk** that’s been boiled and cooled down in the fridge. Add **4 tablespoons of sugar** (adjust sweetness according to your preference). Now, add **1 tablespoon of rose syrup** (or you can use **Rooh Afza** if you prefer). Mix the sugar and syrup well until they completely dissolve.
Step 4: Combining Everything
Add the cooled sago pearls into the milk mixture and stir it well. You can refrigerate it for about **1 hour** so that everything cools down and thickens. The sago pearls will also expand further.

Step 5: Preparing the Jelly Cubes
Once the jelly is set, take it out from the fridge. Cut the jelly into **medium-sized cubes** (you can also make them small or large according to your preference). Jelly cubes work great in this drink, especially for kids!
Step 6: Final Mixing & Serving
Now, add the jelly cubes to the milk and sago mixture. Mix everything gently. Keep aside some jelly cubes for **garnishing**.
Add some chopped **pistachio slices** for garnish (you can also use almonds or cashews if you prefer). Mix the dry fruits well and serve immediately.
Tip
Your **Sago Jelly Juice** is now ready! It’s **refreshing**, **healthy**, and the perfect drink to serve during **festivals**. Not only is it delicious, but its cooling effect is perfect for the hot weather.
