Let’s Start Recipe
Today, we will make a very interesting and crispy chicken nugget recipe. These delicious homemade nuggets are perfect for serving as a snack with tea, in children’s lunch boxes, or even as an appetizer for festivals. You can make a batch and store them in the deep freezer for 1 to 1.5 months. It’s a simple and tasty recipe that your family will love!
Step 1: Preparing the Chicken Mixture
First, take two slices of large bread (if using small bread, take 3-4 slices). Break the bread into pieces and add them to a chopper or mixer. Grind them into breadcrumbs.
Now, take 500 grams (half a kilo) of boneless chicken, making sure the chicken is completely dry and has no water in it. Cut the chicken into small pieces.
Add the following spices:
1)1 teaspoon salt (or as per taste)
2) 1 teaspoon paprika powder
3) 1 teaspoon black pepper powder
4) 1 teaspoon garlic powder (or crushed garlic)
5) 2 tablespoons onion powder (or grated onion after squeezing out the water)
6) Optional: 1 teaspoon of chili powder, if you prefer extra heat
Grind the chicken and spices together until you have a smooth, fine mixture. It should be like a soft dough.
Step 2: Shaping the Nuggets
Once the chicken mixture is ready, grease your hands with a little oil and take a small portion of the mixture. First, roll it into a ball and then flatten it slightly to form the shape of a nugget. Make sure the nugget is thin, as thick nuggets might not cook well from inside when fried. You can shape the nuggets round or oval based on your preference.
Repeat this process until all the nuggets are shaped. You should get about 30-32 nuggets from 500 grams of chicken.
Step 3: Coating the Nuggets
To coat the nuggets, take 2 eggs and beat them in a bowl. Add 2 tablespoons of milk to the eggs and beat again.
Now, coat each nugget as follows:
1. First, dip the nugget in plain flour, ensuring it’s fully covered.
2. Then dip the floured nugget into the beaten egg, covering it completely.
3. Finally, coat the nugget with breadcrumbs. You can either use store-bought breadcrumbs or make your own from fresh bread.
Once coated, set the nuggets aside. You can store these coated nuggets in the deep freezer for 1 to 1.5 months if needed.

Step 4: Frying the Nuggets
To fry the nuggets, heat oil in a pan on medium flame. Once the oil is hot, lower the flame to very low and carefully add the nuggets one by one. Fry the nuggets on low flame to ensure they cook well from inside without getting too dark on the outside.
Fry each side for about 4-5 minutes, turning occasionally to ensure even cooking. This process should take about 7 to 10 minutes in total, depending on the size of your nuggets.
Once golden brown and crispy on the outside, remove the nuggets from the oil and place them on absorbent paper to drain excess oil.
Step 5: Serving the Chicken Nuggets
Serve these crispy, golden-brown chicken nuggets hot with your favorite dipping sauces like tomato ketchup, mayonnaise, or even a spicy dip. These nuggets are perfect for festivals, children’s lunch boxes, or simply as a snack to enjoy with tea.
