Today, we’re sharing a delicious recipe for **Dam Egg Tikka Masala**. It’s incredibly flavorful and so easy to make that once you try it, you won’t forget the taste! It’s perfect with both **roti** and **rice**. This recipe is super simple, and it’s the kind of dish you can make when you don’t have much at home. Let’s dive into the recipe!

Step 1: Frying Onions

Start by heating **1 tablespoon of oil** in a **pan** over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add **2 large onions**, chopped finely. Fry the onions until they soften and start turning a light golden color. This should take about **2-3 minutes**.

Step 2: Adding Ginger-Garlic Paste

Once the onions are golden, add **2 teaspoons of ginger-garlic paste**. Cook until the raw flavor of the paste disappears, about **2 minutes**.

Step 3: Adding Tomatoes and Spices

Now, add **2 large tomatoes**, finely chopped. To help them soften, add **1 teaspoon of salt**. Mix well and let it cook for a few minutes. Once the tomatoes are soft and start breaking down, add **1 teaspoon red chili powder**, **1/2 teaspoon Kashmiri red chili powder** for color, **1 tablespoon coriander powder**, and **1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder**. Stir well and cook until the oil begins to separate from the masala.

Step 4: Adding Tikka Masala

Add **Tikka Masala** (you can either use homemade or a good brand from the market). If you don’t have Tikka Masala, you can substitute with **1/2 teaspoon garam masala** and **1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder**. Stir and cook the spices until the oil separates.

Step 5: Adding Water

Now, add **1 cup of water** to adjust the consistency of the gravy. Stir well and bring it to a boil. Once the gravy starts boiling, cover and cook for **2 minutes** on medium heat.

Step 6: Adding Eggs

It’s time to add the eggs. Lightly salt them and then place them in the gravy, making small spaces between each one. **5 eggs** are recommended, but you can use **6** if preferred. Add **1 finely chopped green chili** over the eggs for extra flavor. Cover and cook for **3-4 minutes** on medium heat, without stirring.

Step 7: Turning the Eggs

After **5 minutes**, flip the eggs gently in the gravy. Cover again and let it cook for another **5 minutes** on medium heat. After that, adjust the gravy consistency according to your preference—thicker for **roti** or a little more runny for **rice**.

Step 8: Garnishing

Now, add some finely chopped **fresh coriander** for garnish. Stir gently and let it cook for **2 minutes** on low heat.

Step 9: Final Touch

After the eggs are nicely cooked and the gravy has reached your desired consistency, turn off the heat. Let the dish sit for a few minutes to **”dum”** (rest), allowing the flavors to settle.

Serving

Your **Dam Egg Tikka Masala** is ready to serve! It’s a perfect dish to accompany **roti**, **rice**, or even **parathas**. The recipe is so simple, yet it’s bursting with flavor, and it takes just **10-15 minutes** to prepare.

Thank You..♥️
